About the Artists:

RonnieFerguson is a poet, filmmaker, and musician. He will besharing new songs from his band STREAKING IN TONGUES, along with poetryfrom his ongoing book series Selfies.The latest book in the series is titled AGood Fight is Hard to Find.

Kerry Yost is a Marquette songbird whose music is inspired by thebeauty of the woods and the vulnerability of humanity. Performing aneclectic mix of soulful covers and heartfelt originals, Kerry reaches audienceswith playful sincerity.

Poetand musician Claudia Drosen is a native of Brooklyn New York, who leftbehind big city life. She and her family have lived on the beautiful South shoreof Lake Superior in Marquette, Michigan for many moons. She received her M.A.in Creative Writing - Poetry from Northern Michigan University where she wasalso a preliminary reader for the journal Passages North. Claudia earned aB.F.A. from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Flute Performance. She hasbeen principal flutist in the Marquette Symphony Orchestra, and an adjunct facultymember in the Music Department at Northern Michigan University, teaching fluteand chamber music. Most recently, she had an essay published in The Gift ofWater, by the Cedar Tree Institute. Her poetry has been featured injournals and magazines including Driftwood Review, The Poetry Society ofMichigan’s Peninsula Poets, Lit UP, Lips, Water Music: The Great Lakes StatePoetry Anthology, Jewish Currents, Maiden Voyage and Superior Voyage. Claudiahas enjoyed doing readings of her work at various venues in the U.P. She is alover of photography, dogs, and is a serious proponent of frequent andunbridled laughter.

Bek Belle is a writer, reader, gym-goer, thrifter, and traveler wholives in Marquette. She holds a Literature and Creative Writing degree fromNMU. Bek has a background in journalistic writing and reporting, and has workedin tv, radio, and publication. Her work has been published in litmagazines and has been showcased at student journalism conventions. She isthe recipient of several student Emmys, and was named the 2020Broadcast Student Journalist of the year. Bek writes CNF andpoetry about her life and the lives of those closest to her.
